*Xylophone, Glockenspiel, Suspended Cymbal, Large Gong, Tambourine, Temple Blocks, Bass Drum, Tam-tam, Vibraphone, Marimba, Bongos, Snare Drum, Toms

**Minimum 7 Violins, 2 Violas, 2 Violoncellos, 1 Double Bass. Although the work is originally written for single strings, parts may be doubled as desired, in which case solo passages and divisi are indicated as needed.
